Agreement to Payment for Services Rendered: By accepting the terms and conditions, you are acknowledging your responsibility to pay for the services outlined in the documentation between you and Steel City Wheels Limited.

Ensuring Accuracy of Documentation: It is your responsibility to guarantee the accuracy of the 'Booking Confirmation' form and any other documentation exchanged between us.

Requirement for Vehicles: Proper Supply of O.E.M. Tool Kit and Locking Wheel Nut Keys: It is mandatory that all vehicles are equipped with the appropriate O.E.M. tool kit and locking wheel nut keys for the installation and removal of wheels, if applicable.

Insurance Requirements for Vehicles Left with Steel City Wheels Limited: Please note that all vehicles must have comprehensive coverage under your personal insurance while they are in the possession of Steel City Wheels Limited.

Exclusion of Liability for Steel City Wheels Limited: Please note that Steel City Wheels Limited is not liable for any loss or damage to goods or articles left in vehicles. Nor are we responsible for any damage or mechanical issues that your vehicle may encounter while in our care – except for any damage caused by our own negligence. This includes flat batteries, slipping clutches, and any other such issues that may arise. In addition, Steel City Wheels Limited will not accept responsibility for the cost of repairing or replacing any parts of your vehicle – particularly when it comes to any technical or structural damage to the wheels. This is unless such damage was caused by our negligence. If we failed to anticipate that such damage may occur or if we did not carry out the work in an appropriate manner, we will assume responsibility.

Protecting Customer and Company Data: Vehicle Recording Equipment Must Be Turned Off on Steel City Wheels Limited Premises To ensure the protection of customer and company data, all recording equipment, including dash cameras, must be turned off while on the premises of Steel City Wheels Limited.

Limitations of Liability in Steel City Wheels Limited's Terms and Conditions: Steel City Wheels Limited's terms and conditions state that they are not responsible for any direct loss or damage you may experience due to negligence, breach of contract or other reasons beyond the price paid for the service(s). However, please note that this does not preclude or diminish Steel City Wheels Limited's liability in the event of death or personal injury resulting from negligence.

Liability during the Transportation of Wheels through a 3rd party: Please note that Steel City Wheels Limited cannot be held responsible for the secure transport of any wheels delivered or collected by courier. It is your responsibility to ensure that the courier you choose has sufficient insurance coverage.

Maintaining the Condition of Your Tyres: Safety and legality are crucial when it comes to your vehicle's tyres. It is your responsibility to regularly check their condition. We are happy to provide and install replacement tyres upon request.

Ensuring Safe Wheel Fitting for Your Vehicle: At our facility, we make every effort to replace your wheels securely after refurbishment. However, we strongly advise that after the first 50 miles of driving, and then at regular intervals as specified by the vehicle manufacturer, you have the retorquing process carried out to maintain the safety of your wheels.

Valve Replacement Service for Tyres: For wheels that require a strip and refit of tyres, we advise having new valves fitted. We offer complimentary rubber valves. Alternatively, chrome valves are available for a nominal fee. Please note that we cannot be held accountable for any leaks or issues that arise when the original valves are re-fitted at your request.

Liability for Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): Steel City Wheels Limited cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to TPMS valves or sensors, if the valve cap becomes damaged, corroded, or stuck to the valve. If the system cannot be removed without causing damage, and TPMS components require replacement or repair, the customer may incur additional charges. Furthermore, we will not proceed with any work without the customer's prior approval.

Refurbishing Wheels: Limitations and Potential Issues: When refurbishing your wheels, we will make every effort to restore them to their former glory. However, there are certain limitations to the process that we should make you aware of. We cannot be held 1.) Incorrect maintenance or modification of wheels, locking nuts, or studs 2.) Previous service or repairs that were not properly carried out 3.) Incorrectly fitted parts or issues with the wheel's structure or components. Responsible for poor castings or excessive corrosion, as these issues may only become apparent after the old finish has been removed. Additionally, other problems we may encounter include: 1.) Incorrect maintenance or modification of wheels, locking nuts, or studs. 2.) Previous service or repairs that were not properly carried out 3.) Incorrectly fitted parts or issues with the wheel's structure or components

Important Note Regarding Split Rim Refurbishment: Please be advised that refurbishing split rims is done at your own discretion and is entirely your responsibility. This includes the dismantling and reassembly of the rims. It's important to note that refurbishment recommendations can vary between manufacturers, so it's your responsibility to check with them to ensure suitability. Please keep in mind that Steel City Wheels Limited Guarantee does not cover split rims.

Important information regarding high gloss finishes: finishes such as 'Hyper Silver' or 'Gloss Black' may reveal blemishes more easily, depending on the condition of the wheels. While we cannot guarantee a completely flawless finish, we do promise to enhance the appearance of your wheels.

Our Right to Charge Additional Fees: We may need to charge extra fees due to unforeseen issues, but we will do our best to inform you before proceeding with the work. We value transparency and will always seek your agreement beforehand.

Wheel Collection Deadline: Please ensure that all wheels are collected before 5:30 p.m., unless we have agreed on an alternative time.

Providing an approximate completion date and time will be the responsibility of Steel City Wheels Limited once the job is scheduled. However, Steel City Wheels Limited cannot be held liable for any delay in completing the work that is beyond its reasonable control.

Payment Terms for Wheel Repair Services: Payment for wheel repair services is due upon completion, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit, or debit card for payment, subject to any card processing fees that may be in effect at the time of payment.

No vehicles or wheels will be released until full payment has been received.

Our Right to Charge a Vehicle Storage Fee: Please be advised that a fee of £20.00 per night will be charged for vehicles left overnight in our care at our premises.

Policy on Unclaimed Wheels Please be aware that unclaimed wheels will be subject to a fee of £10.00 per day from day 8 (day 1 being the day on which the wheels were refurbished). Additionally, if the wheels remain unclaimed and unpaid for after three months, we will proceed to sell them to cover the costs incurred.

Responsibility for the vehicle will be transferred to you upon collection from Steel City Wheels Limited premises.

Submitting Complaints Regarding Vehicle Rentals To file a complaint, please submit it in writing (including email) within 48 hours after you have collected your vehicle. All complaints should be sent to info@steelcitywheels.uk via email.

Applicable Legal Jurisdiction for Service Supply Terms: English law will govern the terms of service supply, and any disagreement arising from the agreement will be resolved by the English courts. Steel City Wheels Limited shall not be liable for any failure to perform any of its obligations to you where the failure is due to circumstances beyond Steel City Wheels Limited’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, Act of God, war, civil disturbance, flood, lightning or fire, industrial action or lockouts, the act or omission of Government or any agent thereof, the act or omission of any person for whom Steel City Wheels Limited is not responsible.

Amendment of Terms and Conditions: Please note that Steel City Wheels Limited may modify and update these terms periodically. You will be bound by the current terms and conditions at the time of booking. Non-Refundable Deposit Payments: Please note that deposit payments cannot be refunded if you do not show up on the booking date (indicated on the Booking Confirmation form) and have not notified us in writing at least 48 hours before the booking date that you will be unable to attend.
